The greatest challenge for any winemaker is to choose the best growing region for each variety of wine. The unrelenting quest for the solution of this challenge has led to the creation of the Special Reserve series, the new high quality series by Barkan Winery. The series is made up of seven varietal wines made from selected grapes: Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlo, Petit Verdot, Pinotage, Shiraz, Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc.
