The name of the wine relates to the altitude of the vineyard above sea level. This wine originates in a vineyard at 624 m above sea level, near Moshav Alma in the Upper Galilee. After aging for 14 months in barrels, mostly in French oak barrels, the wine was bottled without fining.

The wine presents a perfect balance between a rich and concentrated black fruit and sweet spices to give a layered complexity. The wine has harsh yet delicate and smooth tannins.
