Tzafit
Tzafit wine is produced from different vineyards in the Judean Plains, close to Tel-Tzafit. The wine is comprised of Mediterranean varietals: Marselan, Caladoc and Carignan with a small amount of Pinotage. The different wines mature in oak casks for a period of 12 months before being blended to produce this original combination. The wine has an intense and complex aroma, which is made up of milk chocolate, strawberry and raspberry with thyme weeds and tobacco. The wine is invigorating, with smooth tannins, a refreshing acidity, a hint of chocolate, leather, coffee, and white pepper. A real Mediterranean wine, that is drinkable now but will only get better after maturation in comfortable conditions.
Tel-Tzafit, with a height of 203 meters stands out because of its height and isolation in the Judean Plains. The climate in the plains is warm, and this provides a fertile environment for the unusual grape seeds that love to grow in the Mediterranean sun.
